极限90秒

南极企鹅之所以能在冰冷的海水中扑食、在暴风雪中生存，关键是它们对成功捕食时间的准确把握。南极企鹅的潜水极限时间仅仅有90秒，也就是说，它潜水捕猎如果超过90秒，就会溺死在水里。所以，时间对于南极企鹅来说就是生命，每一次捕猎都是以倒计时来计算的，并且必须拼尽全力。它们只能在规定的时间内捕获到磷虾、乌贼或小鱼，不然，要么会被淹死，要么就会被饿死。

由于南极企鹅非常清楚自己捕猎的时间有限，所以每次潜入水中之后，它便目标明确地去寻找猎物，一秒钟时间都不敢耽误。它的速度也异常快捷，抓到猎物后，一定要在肺里的氧气用完之前返回水面。它们没有鲨鱼那样坚硬的牙齿，也没有金枪鱼那样锋利的长枪，它们没有任何强过海里其他动物的器官或武器，也并不适合在水里生活，可是，千百年来，它们就是靠90秒的捕猎时间在南极生存了下来。

其实人生的时间并不短，跟南极企鹅相比，我们的时间何止亿万个90秒，不成功的原因也正是因为时间太充裕，让人们有了懈怠的心理。

如果给成功定一个期限，便没有时间怨天尤人、犹豫不决，而是会立即在有限的时间里明确自己的目标，然后全力以赴。如果你还走在人生的十字路口，那么不妨给自己的成功定一个期限。

勤奋致富是写给纯情派看的，玩家级搞的是金融炼金术?

1。根据国家统计局公布的《家庭收入与居家设备报告》，首善之区的吉隆坡，2009年的家庭收入2年来只成长1.5%；半数吉隆坡市民「居者无其屋」，在全马居民拥房率中包尾。

2。「租税正义联盟」(Tax Justice Network)公布的全球资本外逃排行榜，马来西亚40年也逃了8930亿令吉，近万亿金钱奔向逃税天堂。

一年要赚银行定存$1,000的利息，以定存年利率10%来算，要有母钱$10,000存放在银行，一年内动不得，早提款还要被罚利息钱。

银行系统有了这$10,000,就可以“生出”$100,000（以10倍杠杆来算）拿出去借贷生息赚钱。在我的立场而言，不公平，也不好玩。

CHINA'S Zhejiang Zhongxia Investment Co Ltd has inked a deal with Sepang Goldcoast Sdn Bhd (SGSB) to develop tourism properties worth RM1 billion at the Sepang GoldCoast develop-ment in Bagan Lalang, Sepang, Selangor. Zhejiang executive director Xu Yong said the company will build beach residences, comprising six 18-storey towers with over 1,000 units. Zhejiang will also develop a Fisherman Wharf commercial street, modelled after the Fisherman Wharf in San Francisco and Hong Kong. Total investment in the project will be around RM700 million, with the financing coming from China. The project will be developed in four phases over five to six years, starting early next year. SGSB is a 70:30 joint venture between Sepang Bay Sdn Bhd, which is majority controlled by shareholders of CNI Group, a multi-level marketing outfit in Indonesia, and Permodalan Negeri Selangor Bhd, the Selangor state investment arm. The company owns 2,084ha of coastal land in Sepang. Completed projects at Sepang Goldcoast include the Golden Palm Tree water villas and the Golden Palm Tree Resort & Spa.

It is the same everywhere. Whether you are in a socialist, capitalist or social-democratic or any other society, it is the top echelon of leaders who make all the important decisions. Whether or not they are making good decisions for the interests of everyone is another matter.

However, you don’t need to join a political party to bring about positive change in society.

You can be involved in politics in general without being a member of any political party. Why not? Since politics, economy and social issues affect all of us, there must be a constructive way we can take part in politics, besides casting our votes once every four or five years.

Politics Without Being A Politician

If the mass media has been termed as the Fourth Estate, the new social media as the Fifth Estate, then an independent and effective think-tank can be part of the Sixth Estate of power in society.

If you are part of a large, effective and independent think-tank, you can take part in politics without being a politician. There have been many cases where a good and well-presented report by a think-tank has changed the intended policy direction of some governments.

The effectiveness or impact of a think-tank, like many other organisations, is dependent on its perceived independence (integrity), quality of its analysts and researchers and the financial and data resources available.

穷人的钱是富人事业的基石

很多的穷人喜欢买彩票，总认为只花小小的 2 元钱买一注彩票，就可能成为大奖得主，从此摆脱穷人身份，过上好日子。

但穷人有没有计算过，日复一日，你的多少 2 元钱进了富人的口袋，你自己又得到了多少回报呢？

试想一想，每一次花 2 元钱买一注彩票，一周买 6 种，花掉 12 元钱，一个月就是 48 元钱；

一年下来，就有 576 元钱进了卖彩票的人的口袋，而全国上下，有多少个彩票投注点。

不要老用崇敬的目光关注着某某富人又捐出了多少多少个万，救济了多少多少个生活贫困的人； 某某国家又对某贫困的落后国家提供经济援助、减免债务等等，其实，这是富人懂得“羊毛出在羊身上”的道理。

因为如果世界上没有了穷人，富人要靠谁赚钱呢？

正因为有了穷人，才有了富人，两者间关系密切。

穷人是富人宝贵的资源，没有穷人，谁都活不好。

当穷人继续持有典型的穷人思维，持续操作着成功概率几乎没有的行为，集中精力买报纸对号码，研究怎么选号、怎么投注的时候，富人却拿着穷人汇集起来的钱，打造起自己财富的金字塔。

如此下去，穷人的钱只能被别人（富人）汇聚、被别人（富人）利用，成为别人（富人）事业的基石。

19世纪乃国族意识高涨的时代，然一个足够文明，重视思考和人文传统的社会，就是能够培养出如密尔那样不落俗套、择善固执的知识分子。虽说当时也是殖民主义凌虐全球，而大英帝国正是个中最为「贪婪」、「狡猾」、「霸道」者之一——是以，殖民者（包括诸多海盗、罪犯、奴隶商、鸦片商、军火商和冷血资本家）的同仁（密尔曾服务於东印度公司）讲人权和人道，似乎有点弔诡、虚偽，惟这並不抵销了密尔思想中亮眼的人文关怀及普世价值。

英国哲学家密尔（John Stuart Mill，1806-1873）曾如此表示：「国家的价值（worth），长远而言，乃组成国家之个人的价值」；国家若「矮化」其人民，把其「驯化」为即便是为了某种有益目的手中「工具」，终將发现「『小民』著实无法成就大事」（《论自由》）。

国家始终都是人为的，当个体被束缚、宰制，乃至被「废掉」后，结果往往就是少数特权分子独揽大权，为所欲为，包括擅自擬定各种利益自家人的政策和计划。有时候，所谓「国家利益」，根本不外乎特权者及其朋党的利益 。

人本质上有揽权和滥权的根性，所以现代民主社会不能容许权力的不平衡、不公开、不流动，以至让部分「揽国者」有机会「称霸」，並障碍了他人自由实现其价值和幸福的空间；而若要確保这一点，加强赋权社会和个体乃关键步骤。简言之，健全的社会不能「国强民弱」，更不能「国强个体弱」！

中国思想家梁启超（1873-1929年）对「思潮」所下的定义。他说：「凡是文化发展之国，其国民於一时期中，因环境之变迁，与夫心理之感召，不期而思想之进路，同趋於一方向；於是相与呼应汹涌，如潮然……凡「思」非皆能成「潮」，能成潮者，则其「思」必有相当之价值；而又适合於其时代之要求也。凡「时代」非皆有「思潮」，有思潮之时代，必文化昂进之时代也。」

意思是说，在一个特定的年代有一个共同的思想引导一大群人前扑後继，而形成一个持久的运动。

因为马克思主义和毛泽东思想在战後成了左翼运动的驱动力和指导思想，使到左翼分子相信世界的变化必然到来，也就义无反顾地坚持他们的斗争理念。

• 转入1965年，乔治市市议会被中央政府接管，社阵终於失去斗争平台；再加上社阵在同年杪分道扬镳，左翼势力在化分中转向街头斗争。
  
  这种斗争具体地反映在1967年由劳动党领导的槟州大罢市，抗议旧币对新马币贬值15%。虽获得政府即刻回应，同意旧银币（英女皇肖像）与新银币同值，钞票则维持不变，但也因之更突出了劳工党已走上「文革路线」。
